

Bertie County Tourism Development Authority (TDA)
The Bertie County Tourism Development Authority (TDA) is an 11-member governing board as permitted by NC General Statutes and the Bertie County Board of Commissioners. The TDA's mission is to promote travel, sponsor tourist-related events and activities, and increase overnight visitation of leisure, business, and other travel to Bertie County.

Bertie TDA Timeline

Year One: 1) As required by the NCGS, establish Bylaws, long-range planning, and prospective budgets. 2) Provide education and outreach to local businesses and lodging owners.

Years Two - Four: Actively promote existing lodging and tourism.

Years Five - Six: Hire TDA Executive Director and staff to carry forward the vision of the Bertie County TDA

TDA Board meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 11:00 AM The public and businesses are welcome. Locations are posted 1 week prior. If you plan on attending with specific questions, please get in touch with a Board Member.
